The Valorant Champions Tour season was truly a celebration for all the Valorant aficionados. Riot Games, the publisher, and developer of Valorant, organises the Valorant Champions Tour tournaments circuit. The finale of this season, Valorant Champions 2022, took place in Istanbul, Turkey. From August 31 to September 18, 2022, teams worldwide locked horns to give us some nail-biting moments.
Overview
The tournament has GSL-style group play with an eight-team elimination bracket. It has three different levels: Challengers, Masters, and Champions.Â
Challengers: These are regional open qualifier events where teams battle for Masters event slots as well as cash prizes.
Masters: Teams that advance to the Masters level compete for larger prize pools and the VCT points required for entry into the Champions level.
Champions: This is the finale of the VCT season. Only the best Valorant teams from around the world enter this level, and one of them is crowned Valorant world champion by the end.Â
