A much-improved version of Natus Vincere has arrived at IEM Katowice 2023, with the lineup finally starting to find its rhythm. G2 on the other hand, has been on a roll since the end of 2022 but will have to be wary of a Na’Vi that will be out for revenge, having lost to G2 in the back-to-back best-of-3 series in 2023 already.
A lot is at stake here, with the winner advancing straight into the semi-finals while the loser will have to make their way through the Quarters.

NiKo has regained his form over the last 3 months and is the man to pick judging by the average fantasy points over the period on FanClash. In close proximity though, there are the likes of m0NESY and s1mple, with all three players boasting an average fantasy score of over 70 points.

electroNic has come into IEM Katowice 2023 all guns blazing and will be even more crucial to Na’Vi’s success, having taken up the IGL duties for the org. The 24-year-old currently has an average HLTV Rating of 1.34 at the event and will be looking to maintain it when Na’Vi faces G2.
Another great option is G2’s jks, who has also played lights out so far in IEM Katowice 2023, with an HLTV Rating of 1.32 at the event.

According to the FanClash expert opinion, you need to pick 3 G2 players in order to maximize your credits utilization. NiKo and m0NESY are joined by huNter- while s1mple and electroNic are the players of choice from Natus Vincere.

However, if you go by the most fantasy points scored in the last 5 matches, the FanClash expert opinion suggests 3 Na’Vi players, with b1t joining electroNic and s1mple. m0NESY makes way for b1t, which means you pick the Kovac brothers NiKo and huNter- from G2.
Writer’s Squad and Summary
My squad for this matchup is very straight-forward. First of all, I have gone with the two in-form players at the event, electroNic from Na’Vi and jks from G2. Then, I have chosen the usual suspects, s1mple and NiKo.
The last player will depend on who you think is going to win the matchup. If you think Na’Vi will prevail, go with b1t while huNter- or m0NESY will be your go-to choice if you believe in a G2 victory. I will suggest making multiple teams with different options in different teams to optimise your probability of winning as much prize money as possible. Me, personally, I have gone with m0NESY.
For captain and vice-captain, all 4 players – NiKo, s1mple, electroNic, and jks deserve to be in the multipliers. So, I would suggest you to pick different captains and vice-captains in different teams. For my team, I have gone with NiKo as the captain and jks as the vice-captain.
In terms of boosters, m0NESY will be a good option for the I’ll watch you die booster while electroNic would be a valuable option for the Procession Starter pick. NiKo should slot into both Frag Leader and Damage Control boosters. My team has the Heads are all I see booster on NiKo and then I’ll watch you die booster on m0NESY.
