FanClash League fantasy is here. This gives you the chance to participate in a fantasy contest for free and win fabulous gaming accessories. With the ESL Pro League Season 17 drawing to an end, FanClash has come up with this new format of fantasy contest for the hardcore esports enthusiasts who have been following the league since its beginning on February 22 this year.
Normal Fantasy vs League Fantasy
This contest will coincide with the Quarterfinals of the ESL Pro League Season 17 which begins on March 23. Unlike other fantasy contests on the FanClash app, here the users will be able to pick their 5-man squad from 8 different teams, rather than the usual system of 2 teams. All 40 players of the eight quarter-finalists will be available for selection. Also, users will be able to make substitutions in the semifinals and finals.Â
Substitutions
The first selection window will open at 8 am, of Mar 23, 2023, and will be open till 7 pm, one hour before the beginning of the first quarter-final match. Since the team of a selected player might get eliminated, there is a provision for substitutions. There will be two substitution windows and no capping on the number of substitutions. Though the first two substitutions will be free, any further substitutions will incur a penalty of 20 fantasy points.
The first substitution window will open on Mar 25, 2023, after all the quarter-finals are over. The second window will open on March 26, 2023, the day of grand finals. Like the team creation window, the substitution window will also be open from 8 am to 7 pm on the aforementioned days.
Prizes
Top 5 users with the highest fantasy points win. The champion team maker will get a gaming keyboard, the first runner-up wins a gaming headphone, the second runner-up wins gaming earbuds, and users at fourth and fifth pole positions will receive Amazon vouchers.
Winners will be declared on Mar 27, 2023, after the conclusion of the grand finals.
