Indians rock it everywhere and in every field you talk about. From science and technology to Olympics and games. We drive people around the world from our excellence, intelligence and skills. Whether it’s about the CEO of Twitter and Chanel where Parag Agrawal and Leena Nair made us proud or the Vice President of US, Kamala Harris. And in the BGMI category Team Nova and Team XO are on par leaving no space for others to enter.
Well, ever since the gaming fever began in India, we have been doing exceptionally well in the field of esports and iGaming. Although there were champions in the early 20s, the access to cheap internet and gaming devices fueled the gaming industry. Indian esports teams are taking it globally with their on the top performance in multiple international gaming tournaments and contests. Let’s see the journey of two Indian teams Velocity Gaming and Global Esports for the VCC tournament.
Velocity Gaming is all set for their next round of VCC 2022. They defeated the all time champions aka Global Esports. Global Esports is recognized in both Indian and Global communities for their exceptional gameplay in the tournament last year.
Though it was not a good year for Global Esports, to compare between the two teams is really a hard nut to crack
While VLT managed to attain victory in the end, Global Esports certainly gave them a run for their money. The former team started off the grand finals on the right foot by securing a 13-8 victory over their rivals in Breeze.
It is quite evident that both the teams played well but there has to be one winner.
So, what next is up?
As a part of the Valorant Champions Tour, Riot’s official 2021 tournament circuit, both the teams are all set for Thailand to play international circuit and Global Esports is already knocked out of the tournament.
Velocity Gaming is rolling up its sleeves for their big day that is supposed to be on 17th March and we all have our eyes on it. They are going to play against Oblivion Force, a team from Hong Kong and is ranked #72 in the CQ-Esports Valorant Ranking having CQ.Score = 1473.
The Match is scheduled at 6:00 PM IST and we can’t wait to see our team win!
And FanClashers are going all crazy about the D-day. With more than 200+ registrations across India, we are already in the queue to not only watch the international match in the history of VCC but to also participate in this huge event with our fantasy team.
Well, this is one among many examples where Indian iGaming teams have made us proud so far. And looking at the near future, as more and more youngsters are getting involved and showing their interest in gaming, we can definitely bet that the next big titles are going to be from India surpassing South Korea, China, Denmark and other countries.
