Sangal survived Lower Bracket Round 1, ousting favourites HEET and sending them into the Relegation phase for Season 43. The international roster will now face another formidable squad in the form of Bad News Eagles, a team that is fresh from their escapades at the IEM Rio Major 2022.

The two teams have never faced each other before. However, Bad News Eagles would have gained a lot of experience from their performances at IEM Rio and will look to make use of that when they face Sangal. Sangal could view the victory over HEET as an upturn in form and will be looking to make Bad News Eagles their second scalp in two days.

While Sangal did manage to dispose of HEET, Bad News Eagles could be bad news for the international roster. Their opponents are better on almost every spectrum and statistic that the game has to offer and it looks like this will be where Sangal’s journey ends.

Bad News Eagles have many stars among them. But, juanflatroo stands out as the marquee option for the match. The BNE rifler deals 81.5 Damage per round according to the HLTV 3-month average, making him not only a prime option to score healthy fantasy points but also for the Damage Control booster.
The Credit Optimiser
If we want to make full use of the credits, we will still be able to select both soulfly and juanflatroo in the squad. Among other players suggested is gxx-, who will be a good option for the “I’ll watch you die” booster. Sangal’s heroes against HEET, phzy and kyuubii make up the numbers in this squad.
The Stacked Squad (Best Squad according to Fantasy points)
According to the FanClash fantasy points scored in recent times, the experts suggest selecting kory over phzy. soulfly and juanflatroo are common picks. But, SENER1 has been given priority over gxx- while kyuubii remains in the squad.
Writer’s Squad
The formula is simple – we go with 3 players from the squad we believe will win and perhaps, win in a clean fashion. In this match, it is Bad News Eagles. Firstly, juanflatroo is a guaranteed pick for me, with soufly from Sangal also featuring as a marquee pick in my squad.
According to me, gxx- has massive potential to score points and also to gain extra points from the “I’ll watch you die” booster. So, he makes the squad. The third Bad News Eagles player in my squad is sinnopsyy, who is a well rounded player that deals massive damage at an ADR of 79.
To fit all these players in the squad, I will have to go with phzy even though I would have viewed kyuubii as a better option for the match. Nevertheless, my captain is juanflatroo, with sinnopsyy being the vice-captain. Also, I have applied the Damage Control booster on juanflatroo and the “I’ll watch you die” booster on gxx- to enhance my team’s chances of scoring as many fantasy points as possible.
Summary
All in all, juanflatroo, soulfly and gxx- are players that are worth splurging on for the match. FanClash users should also look at the option of going with stars such as phzy, kory and sinnopsyy while rigoN could be a really underrated option coming in at a cost of 7 credits.
As far as captaincy and multipliers are concerned, juanflatroo is an able option for captaincy due to his Damage stats and his KPR of 0.74. The othe option obviously is soulfly. However, if you have sinnopsyy in your team and are of the belief that Bad News Eagles will win, theen sinnopsyy should be your pick for vice-captain.
Coming to boosters, gxx- has the least DPR of 0.59 and is hence, a good option for the “I’ll watch you die” Booster. juanflatroo can be good for two boosters for this match – the Frag Leader and the Damage Control booster. Other good options for the Damage Control booster are sinnopsyy and soulfly.
